Terry Franklin Hamilton

Terry Franklin Hamilton, 60, passed away Friday June 17, 2022 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, Candor, NC, officiated by Rev. Mike Greene.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Due to COVID-19, masks are suggested and social distancing is recommended.

Terry was born in Montgomery County on January 7, 1962 to Mary Jane Hunt Hamilton of Troy and the late Franklin Hamilton.  He worked in the maintenance department for the Asheboro Housing Authority for 16 years.  Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching western movies, and riding the four-wheeler or dirt bike.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Hamilton of Troy; his sisters, Donna Lemons of Troy and Trudy LaBrack of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Kason K. McKinnon and Krisslyn K. McKinnon; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Susan McLeod.
