Penelope Rayne Locklear

Infant Penelope Rayne Locklear passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bobby Dean and Rev. Bobby Tyson.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing when possible.

Penelope was born on October 30, 2021 in Orange County.  She is the daughter of Travis Locklear and Stormie Singleton of Laurinburg.  Penelope was a tiny but mighty fighter.  She was just too perfect for this world.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Kim Bridgeman and Paul Bridgeman of Laurel Hill, and Hartford Singleton of Conway SC.  She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Michael and Deborah Locklear.
