I know it's been over a month since your passing but it still doesn't feel real. I will always remember your wittiness and your smile. You gave Math a whole nother meaning. May you continue to Sleep In Peace. OAN: I know you are somewhere still flucking chickens. *Classroom Insider* ♡♡♡ You will be missed.

Marvin, Janna and Jeffrey,
I am just hearing of Nancy's death and I am so sorry. I have so many memories of when everyone gathered at the Shelley's...those were such special, sweet times. I am truly blessed to have been a part of such an amazing family.
God bless you now and always.
Much love,
Venice

The loss of a loved one is never easy no matter how long you have had to prepare yourself. But the family of the loved one can find comfort in knowing that they are no longer suffering and is resting in the arms of Jesus. And know they have the blessed assurance they will see their loved one again someday. I was blessed to be a classmate with Nancy in both high school and college. Her inspiration was second to none. She was always very thoughtful and kind to her classmates. She will be missed by the many lives that she has touched in her lifetime. My prayer is for comfort and peace to come to her family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know you will miss Nancy terribly.
I am honored to have served as Nancy's Principal during my tenure at Scotland High School. I appreciated that she was a perfect fit for the Ninth Grade Academy. She was a great mix of tenacity, spunk, tolerance, and a "never give up on a child " attitude. I am impressed at her willingness to share her skills as a teacher for so many years - our good fortune.
Please know my thoughts and prayers will join those of hundreds in our community who will miss Nancy and who will feel her presence in the weeks and months to come.

Marvin,Janna,Jeffrey,Michelle,Erin,Jessica,Dawson,Sallie &R.D. I don't have the words to say how sorry i am to hear of Nancy's death. She was a great lady,a great teacher, just the greatest person you would ever want to meet. She taught some of my children and grandchildren in school.I also had the privilige of caring for all five of her grandchildren in my Child Care. She and i have shared some great and sad moments together. On May 30th,1997,Nancy had come to my Child Care to pick up her grandchildren, not knowing that she was about to be faced with firemen and policemen bringing me the awful news of my youngest son{Mark's}death.Nancy never left me till she saw that i was getting the help that i needed.I will never forget that. I know your hearts hold deep sadness, but remember all the blessings and the love you all shared, she loved each one of you dearly.Praying that God will comfort you hearts and his presence be felt in a mighty way at this most difficult time.We Love Each One Of You.With our deepest sympathy.
