Matthew Charles Dennis

Matthew Charles Dennis, 32, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Moses H Cone Memorial Hospital.

Due to Covid-19, services will be announced at a later date.

Born May 20, 1988 in Montgomery County, he is a son of Charles and Kathy Haywood Dennis of Mt. Gilead. Matthew was a previous employee of Energizer Battery in Asheboro. He enjoyed playing the guitar, and was a great artist. He loved his music, the mountains, science fictions, old movies, and reading. Matthew was a tattoo artist and an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his brother, Ethan Dennis of Raleigh.  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wyman and Gloria Haywood; his paternal grandparents David and Merlene Dennis; his uncles, Scott Haywood and Daniel Dennis.
