Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Walters, passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 58.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Born on June 3, 1964, in Lumberton, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Henry Hovis Walters and Thelma Barrington Walters.
An electrician by trade, Kenneth was a hardworking individual. Kenneth loved the Lord and going to church. He had a deep love for animals and took great joy in caring for them. He had a special fondness for chocolate ice cream, flour bread, drinking water and potato salad. Above all else, Kenneth cherished spending time with his grandchildren and visiting with others, always ready with a kind word or a gentle gesture.
He is survived by his brothers, Henry Walters of Orrum, NC and Keith Walters (Meredith) of Canton, GA. He also leaves behind his cherished special friend, Jane Bullock of Orrum, NC; and his adored grandchildren, Katie Jo Bullock and Evelyn Bullock; nieces, Payton and Hayden Walters; nephews, Austin Walters, Devin Walters and Christian Walters; and his sister-in-law, Janna Walters. Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Thomas Walters.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations for dog food and cat food. Donations can be dropped off on Kenneth's front porch.
