James Frederick "Tyler" Locklear

James Frederick "Tyler" Locklear, 38, of 721 Onnie and Joe Road Maxton, North Carolina was born February 25, 1986 to the late Dexter Earl and Wanda Kay Locklear.  He departed from this life on March 9, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Prospect Community Church in Maxton, officiated by Rev. Scottie Deal.  Burial will follow at Sandcutt Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Kate Locklear, and his paternal grandparents James Earl Locklear and Pauline Bullard Locklear.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Chadon Secuoya Tyler Locklear; his brother, Dexter Earl Locklear, Jr.; his twin sister, Sierra Caress Frizzell and husband Brian; and his nephew, Landyn Frizzell.
