James Barger Obituary

James Wilson Barger, 66, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

The family will have a private memorial service.

Born March 21, 1956, in Hamilton County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Pauline Bryant Barger. James was a truck driver for Anderson Trucking Services and a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, gardening, and the outdoors. He especially loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Ollie Stephens Barger of the home; his sons, Damian Barger of Cincinnati, OH, James Cook (Becky), all of South Carolina; his daughter, Brittany Jobst (Bradley) of Maryland; his brother, Steve Barger (Teresa) of Indiana; and grandchildren; Rev Cook, Zak Cook, Waylon Head, Genesis Reaves, Lillian Reaves, and Autumn Reaves. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Barger and brother, Perry Barger.
