Harry Fisher

Harry Edward Fisher, 73, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service officiated by the Rev. Al Newcomb and Speaker Jackie Morris.  In honor of Harry, camouflage attire is acceptable. An informal visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to service time.  Immediately following the Celebration of Life, the family ask that you stay and join them for some good BBQ in Harry’s memory.

Born on March 24, 1946, in Union County, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Harry Martin and Dorothy Marie Fisher.  Harry attended law school at the University of Virginia and was an undergraduate at Wake Forest University.  He began his career in Morehead City and served Montgomery County for almost 50 years during his law profession.

Harry was a loving husband and best friend and was always working on his bucket list.  He was an avid hunter and hunted big game all over the world.  He was a passionate baseball player and was recruited by Wake Forest to play baseball.  He loved the outdoors, bird hunting, fishing and was a Carolina Panthers fan.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Janet Clark Fisher of the home; one daughter, Ashlee Lynne Fisher Mullinax and husband, Mark and granddaughters, Allison and Hailey Mullinax of Concord; two sons, Kyle William Fisher and his wife, Leah and granddaughter, Nadia Fisher of Fishers, IN and Jaime Edward Fisher of Charleston, SC; brother-in-law, Chad G. Clark and his wife, Heather and son, Miles G. Clark; a nephew, Derrick Clark and his wife, Bobbie; and nieces, Delaney, Brynnan and Kynnadie.  He is preceded in death by a half brother and sister.
