Harold Warren "Stink" Pierson

Harold Warren “Stink” Pierson, 79, of Laurinburg, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at his residence.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Luke United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Billy Olsen.

Born September 29, 1939 in Scotland County, he was the son of the late James William and Evvie Hudson Pierson.  Mr. Pierson was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and served in the National Guard, as well as enjoyed a long career in sales. 

He is survived by his two daughters, Sheila Stanton and her husband, Tim of Holly Springs, NC and Kellie Jackson and her husband, Jeff of Laurinburg; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and Rooster, a loyal pet.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sandra R. Pierson and his brother, Ashley Pierson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 13, 2019 at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
