Eunice Pate Myers, 94, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel, officiated by Rev. Woody Byrd. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time in the chapel, and other times at 108 W. Cottingham St., Maxton, NC 28364. Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to wear a face mask and also practice social distancing.
Born December 4, 1926, in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late George Washington and Cora McFarland Pate. Eunice loved her family and was proud to be a Breast Cancer survivor to which she conveyed many times by participating in the Relay for Life Walk.
She is survived by her son, Frank Benson Myers Jr. of Laurinburg; her daughters, Brenda M. Adams (Jim) of Portsmouth, VA, and Bobbe McLean (David) of Maxton; her grandchildren, Winde Witt, Arthur Adams, Frank Benson Myers III, Christopher McLean, and Jackson Rosenthal. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Myers Sr., her daughter, Sally Rosenthal, and her grandson, Joseph Adams.
