Donald Lee Sisk, 57, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his residence.
Born April 3, 1965, in Cabarrus County, he is the son of Geraldine Turner Craven and the late Carl M. Sisk, Jr. Donald was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Wadesboro and was retired from Dunn Logging. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the mountains, working on cars, and driving his big truck. He was a down to earth country boy and always loved helping anybody.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his son, Dustin Lee Sisk and his daughter, Tabitha Lynn Bass (Danny) both of Troy; brothers, Ronald Lee Sisk, Carl Sisk (Rachel) both of Mt. Gilead, and Kenneth Sisk of Troy; sisters, Elizabeth Deaton (Kenny) of Crossville, TN, and Diane Reavis (Bill) of Salisbury; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and other times at his home at 399 Valley View Church Rd. in Mt. Gilead and his daughter’s home at 226 Fountain Rd. in Troy.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kevin Thompson. Burial will follow at Stoney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Gilead.
