Clara (Dunlap) George

Clara Dunlap George, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Marston Baptist Church in Rockingham, officiated by Rev. Jim Ritter. The family will receive friends at the church after the service. Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to wear a face mask and also practice social distancing.  

Born April 12, 1952, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Daniel and Iva Garner Dunlap.  She retired from Burlington Mills in Cordova, NC.

She is survived by her son, Charles George and wife, Valerie of Biscoe; her daughter, Cathy George Turner and her husband, Kris of Lancaster, SC, two sisters, Cathy and Barbara; one brother, David; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
