Born October 4, 1949 in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Charlie Kenneth and Hazel Taylor Cagle. Charlie was employed with Klaussner Furniture as a supervisor and worked in the furniture industry for 45 plus years. Many loved ones will remember spending time with Charlie huddled around the fire barrel or playing music at the picnic table. He loved spending time outdoors and was rarely without a project. From planting a garden for the deer to eat, to prepping his prized ’55 Chevy to be repainted once again, he could do it all. As big a man as he pretended to be and equally hilarious, he was always kind and generous. Charlie will not be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jolene Deaton Cagle of the home; son, Charles Cagle, II and his wife Vella Cagle; granddaughters, Hazel and Lily Cagle; and sister, Joan Shaw. He is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Singleton; and brothers, Alfred and Frank Cagle.
