With deepest sorrow, We announce that Bradley Thomas Atkins, 26, our most beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
A funeral service will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Love Joy United Methodist Church Arbor officiated by Rev. Justin Wells, Rev. Tommy Haynes and Tony Sedberry. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Due to Covid- 19 restrictions, please wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page. Public visitation will be from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.
Bradley was born on October 20, 1994 to John Charles and Sherry Comer Atkins of Troy. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved to work on vehicles and small engines. Bradley was always working on something. He was a 2013 graduate of West Montgomery High School and a 2015 graduate of Montgomery Community College with a degree in Forestry.
He is survived by his sister, Lauren Atkins of Asheboro; maternal grandmother, Virginia Brady Comer of Seagrove; paternal grandparents, John Lewis and Edith McIntyre Atkins of Troy; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was pre-ceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Clinton Comer.
Memorials may be made to Montgomery Community College Forestry program in memory of Bradley once the family has set up a scholarship in his name.
