Bernice Lee Campbell, 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Morrison Manor.
A memorial service will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel, officiated by David McLamb. The family will receive guests beginning at 11:00 am until service time in the chapel.
Born July 8, 1941, in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Floyd and Myrtle Buie Campbell. After serving in the US Navy, he retired from Railroad Friction as a superb mechanic. He loved playing sports, especially golf and loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Ann Cashwell Campbell of the home; his children, Tony Campbell (Natasha) of Springfield, Adam Campbell (Lora) of Sneads Grove, Michael Campbell of Laurel Hill, Luke Campbell of Laurinburg and John Campbell of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Nancy Joanne Douglas of Laurel Hill and Myrtle Jeannett Smith (Ralph) of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Clark Campbell; brothers, Robert David Campbell, Harold Floyd Campbell and Timothy Wayne Campbell; sisters, Patricia Crabtree, Bertha Smith, Phyllis Sessoms, Carolyn Faye Campbell, Betty Gordon and Delphia Honeycutt.
