Alma “Louise” English, 65, of Troy, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Christie H. Davis. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service in Troy.
Born September 14, 1958, in Moore County, she was a daughter of the late James Roy and Elizabeth Irene Deaton English. Louise enjoyed playing tennis, writing calligraphy, and she loved her cats.
She is survived by her sister, Linda E. Hursey of Troy; brothers, James Roland English (Dale) of KY, Lonnie Butch English (Brenda), George “Rufus” English (Sharon), and Andy English, all of Robbins.
