Mrs. Zada Cappadony McCauley Tovey, 66, of 10541 Turnpike Road died Monday, November 13, at her residence.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3, at Concord Cemetery in Belington, WV.
She is survived by three sons, Donald McCauley and wife, Emily of Smerna, DE, William McCauley of York, PA, Richard McCauley and partner, Stephen Nicholson of Woodbridge, VA; a daughter, Patricia McCauley and her partner, Delina Less of Morganton, WV; three sisters, Sherry Malatesta of Mechanicsville, MD, Helen Zambelli of Elkins, WV, Rose Cameron of Little River, SC, and a special friend, Evelyn Rushin of Laurinburg.
She has a large extended family in the Elkins area. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jesse Donald McCauley; four brothers, Tony, John, Frank, and Joseph Cappadony, and her sister, Nina Cappadony Lantz Ammons.
Born May 4, 1940 in Adolph, WV, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Russie Chewning Cappadony. Zada was an accomplished seamstress and cook, skills sthat she used throughout her professional life. She was a caring friend witha quick smily and was known for her great sense of humor.
