Mrs. Wrae Ward Smith, 91, a leader
of the Wagram community for over
50 years died peacefully Thursday,
May 4, at Scotia Village in
Laurinburg.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m.
Sunday at Spring Hill Baptist
Church in Wagram officiated by the
Revs. Van Ingram and John Hoit.

Born August 3, 1908 in Belvedere,
NC to Thomas Ward and Hannah
Weston, she attended Meredith
College and graduated from East
Carolina University. Her teaching
career spanned 41 years in
Elizabeth City, Sanford, Sneada
