William A. White II (Bill), a Navy Veteran and Retired Baltimore County Police Officer died unexpectedly on April 22, 2015 at the age of 68.
Bill is survived by his loving fiancé, Julia Bell of the home, his sister Betty (Joan) Simms of Maryland; his beloved children, Mary White Pultz , Stephanie White Agar both of Virginia, and William A. White of Delaware, his grandchildren (better known to them as Pops/Popsicle) Christopher Matthew Flade of Northern Virginia, Joshua Louis Flade (United States Marine), Mary Blair Pultz and Bailee Elizabeth Pultz, Brittany Marie White of Baltimore, Maryland, Nathan and Shyanne White of Delaware. He is predeceased by his sisters, Nora (Jean) Ballard, Nina Geraldine (Jeri) Garrett and Jacqueline (Jackie) Faye Cline. Bill was fortunate to also have many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that loved him.
Bill was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 1, 1947 to William A. White and Mary White. He graduated from Lansdowne High School and joined the Navy shortly there-after. After his service in the Navy, he began his career with the Baltimore County Police Department and retired after many years of service.
Bill will be most remembered as a loving father to his children and quite the jokester to his grand-children whom he loved dearly. He truly enjoyed being with his buddies and doing what he loved best hunting and fishing.
He also enjoyed spending time with his fiancé Julie who was truly his best friend and soulmate. He was a funny man who loved to tell a joke and enjoyed making us all laugh. He also enjoyed sharing the many stories of his life especially his time with the Police Department. He loved discussing the Bible and sharing it with his family. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A visitation with the family is scheduled for 2:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm on April 26th at the Laurinburg Christian Church in Laurinburg, NC. Minister John Brand will officiate.
