Mr. William Harry Smith, 68, of 26921 Cliff Gibson Road, Marston, died Wednesday, December 12 at Duke University Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Cottingham officiating. Burial will follow in McNeill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Gibson Smith of the home.

Born December 7, 1933 in Robeson County he was a son of the late Oliver L. and Mary P Smith. He was retired from West Point Stevens. Harry was also a former deacon and a member of the Men of the Church at Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church as well as an active member of the Woodmen of the World.
