William Scott

William B. Scott, 67, of Laurinburg, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his home.

A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Word of Life Assembly of God, officiated by Pastor Don Rollins. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the church.

Born November 24, 1950 in Scotland County, he was the son of the late Codell and Ethel May Hunt Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Grooms Scott of the home; daughters, Tonya Duncan of Sanford and Barbara Champion (Billy) of Forest City, NC; son, Billy Ray Scott of Laurinburg; stepdaughter’s, Crystal Locklear and Teresa Pridgen (Lyn) both of Laurinburg and Joyce Michelle Brigman (Scotty) of Gibson; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Kay Hardy and his daughter, Sherrie Scott.
