William Walter Johnstone

William Walter Johnstone, 63, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Kindred Hospital, Greensboro, NC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Born April 21, 1957 at Worcester, MA, he was a son of the late Robert John and Walda Fessenden Johnstone.  He graduated from school in El Salvador; received his Associate Degrees in Business, Emergency Medical Science and Fish and Wildlife Management.  He was North Carolina District Manager for Access Points, serving Scotland and surrounding counties on the east coast.  He installed the first floating dock in North Carolina. William was a former paramedic with Montgomery County EMS, FirstHealth and Badin Lake Volunteer EMS.  He was a Buffalo Bills fan, loved dogs, traveling, wood working and his job.  He also loved cheese pizza and only unsweetened tea.

He is survived by one brother, Wayne (Jeanine) Johnstone of Washington, DC; and one sister, Margaret Johnstone of Fitchburg, MA; one niece, Elizabeth; and great-niece, Nicolette.
