William Thomas Cribb

William Thomas Cribb, age 79, of Laurinburg, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tracy Gross and Rev. Howard Harden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

William was born on January 26, 1947, in Robeson County, North Carolina and he was a son of the late William Hillie and Myrtle Benson Cribb. William enjoyed watching television, especially games shows and soap operas.

He is survived by his brothers, Gilbert Cribb (Dorrell) of Maxton and Charles Cribb (Elizabeth) of Sanford, Florida; sister, Linda Faye Tatum of Kodak, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Wanda Monley.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Amanda Hunt; and sister, Judy Whistnant.
