William Henry 'Billy' Lee

Mr. William Henry "Billy" Lee, 77, died Saturday, March 18, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

No services are scheduled. Committal will be off the coast of Cape Hatteras.

He is survived by a son, Bill Lee of Charlotte; two daughters, Sarah Wright of Charlotte and Janet Craven of Jamestown; three brothers, Richard Lee of Denby, VA, Charlie Lee of Marietta, Ga, and Bobby (Barlow) Lee of Monroe; and three grandchildren.

Billy was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving in Guadacanal, Leyte, and Luzon.

McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
