William Alfred ''Billy'' Currie

Mr. William A. Currie, 55, of 5809 Bent Creek Road died, Monday, December 24, at his home in Midlothian, Virginia after a three year battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Beasley Currie, three sons, Craig Currie and his wife Selena of Newport News, VA, Chris Currie of Midlothian, VA, Chad Currie of Midlothian, VA and a student at Saint Andrews College in Laurinburg, NC; mother, Emma Lee Langley Currie of Laurinburg, NC; brother, Butch Currie and his wife Linda of Laurinburg, NC; four sisters, Peggy Goodwin of Laurel Hill, Shirley Lett of Laurinburg, Jenny Bates and her husband Don of Charlotte, and Nancy Currie of Fitzgerald, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was born November 19, 1946, a native of Laurinburg, and was the son of the late H. Shaw Currie. He was a Vietnam Veteran stationed in Bien Hoa, Vietnam and served in the Armya
