William Allen Smith

William Allen Smith, age 70, of Laurel Hill, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel, officiated by Rev. Gary Wilson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.

William was born on March 20, 1956, in Scotland County, North Carolina and he was a son of the late Vernon and Alma Lee Todd Smith. William enjoyed attending Bergman’s auction. He was a buyer and seller of antiques. He loved his old blue Chevy truck  and he was a faithful member of Laurinburg Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Cindy Smith of the home; daughter, Shana Graham (his heart) of the home; son, Robby Graham (Jessie) of Laurel Hill; brother, Charles Smith (Shannon) of Addor; cousin and dear friend Susie Britt (Richard) of Laurinburg; and many loving nieces and nephews that lovingly called him “Pa.” He had many loving and loyal friends.

He is preceded in death along with his parents; his brothers, Jerry and Leroy Smith.
