Mr. Walter Edmond Wenck, 87, of 826 Jackson Street died Tuesday, September 27, at his home.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Elizabeth Forester.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Norton Wenck; two daughters, Joan Bell of Rocky Mount and Wendy Eileen Wenck of Carrboro; three step-daughters, Martha Breeden, Ruby Shelley and Jo Ann Towery of Laurinburg; one step-son, Woodrow B. Breeden of Laurinburg; one brother, Robert Wenck of Southern Pines; one sister, Betty Jane Hamrick of Clearwater, FL; two grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren.
Born in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Ida Pidcoe Wenck. Mr. Wenck was an accountant with Confidential Tax Service and owned and operated Wencka
