Mr. W. Vivian McCall, 90, of 704 McNeill Drive died Wednesday, September 15, at Scotia Village.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Nick Mager and Elizabeth Forester.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Kincaid McCall; a son, Allen McCall and his wife, Vicky, of Florence, SC; a daughter, Ann M. Watson of Florence; 6 grandchildren; Vivian Maddox Sidden of Florence, Ashley Watson Masterson of Florence, Erin McCall Lewis of Florence, Matt McCall of Clemson, Audra McCall of Florence, Mike Watson of Springfield, MO; three great grandchildren, Elis Sidden, Zach Sidden, and Scott Masterson of Florence. He was predeceased by a grandson, Scott Watson of Florence.
Born September 11, 1909 in Scotland County, NC, he was a son of the late Walter V. and Christiana McCormick McCall. Vivian was a US Army veteran of World War II and later served as the manager of the Laurinburg Cotton Warehouse for 30 years. He was the Chief Magistrate for Scotland County for 17 years.
Vivian was also a former deacon and elder at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Laurinburg Lions Club.
