Walser “Tink” Mae Luther, 92, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at her residence.

A funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Troy United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Vanlene Nelson and Rev. Daniel Luther. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery in Troy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church and other times at the son’s residence, 584 Corbett Rd., Troy.

Born March 19, 1926 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Walser Dennis Luther and Helen Ragsdale Kellis (Bud Kellis). She worked as an inspector in the textile industry. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church and loved it dearly. She was also the World’s Best Cook.

She is survived by her sons, Don Luther (Susan), Jim Luther (Shirley) and Dennis Luther (Gail) all of Troy; brother, Billy Joe Kellis of Troy; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
