Vivian Lorriane Ingram James, 78, of 314 McLean Street, Laurinburg passed away July 2, 2006 at Morrison Manor.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 6, 2006 at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by Rev. Bobby Fletcher. Burial will follow in Bear Branch Cemetery, Rockingham.
Born July 8, 1927 in Hartsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Hunter and Flourence Frye Ingram. She was a graduate of Laurinburg High School and a retiree of Southern Bell Telephone Company. She was also a member of the Pioneers and Do Nothing Clubs (Southern Bell Retirees.)
She is survived by her children, Ken James and wife, Kathy of Boerne, TX, Gail James Patton and husband, Sam of Hamlet, and Steve James and wife, Janice of Laurinburg; two sisters, Harriett Smith and husband, Otto of Asheboro and Paula Hasty and husband, Gene of Laurinburg. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium of Laurinburg and other times at 314 McLean Street Apt. 14, Laurinburg.
