Mrs. Virginia Weatherly Martin, 88, formerly of Laurinburg died Friday, March 8, at Britthaven of Hamlet.
A graveside service will be 4 p.m. Monday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by Don Malpass.
She is survived by a son, Russell Martin of Gastonia; a daughter, Sherry M. Caulder of Rockingham; two sisters, Mirian Prevatte of Laurinburg and "Bunch" Usher of Bennettsville; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Born October 22, 1913 in Bennettsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late John and Atlanta Weatherly. She was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens, a member of the First Baptist Church and the Growing Friendships.
