Viola Bowen Hardee
February 23, 1936 — January 21, 1999
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Howard Harding.
Burial will follow in Beaver Dam Cemetery in McColl, SC.
She is survived by her mother, Fodie Strickland Bowen; a son, Tommy Guy of Laurinburg; two sisters, Julia Byrd and Mary Alice Ellis of Laurinburg.
Born February 23, 1936 in Laurinburg, she was a daughter of the former Fodie Strickland and the late Angus Bowen. She was retired from Toastmaster, Inc. and was a member of Pleasant View Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be 7 - 9 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
