Victor Wayne Dover, 68, died suddenly Tuesday, October 12 at his home.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. Opie Swails.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jackson Dover; two sons, Bryan Dover (Sammie Jo) of McColl, SC and Randy Dover (Jennifer) of Laurinburg; a daughters, Rhonda D. Singleton (Roy) of Rockingham; two sisters, Iris Bayne of Columbia, SC and Joyce Lucas of Lexington, SC; eight grandchildren, Skyler Dover, Trey Singleton, Eric Singleton, Hayley Singleton, Savannah Dover, Sarah Dover, Bree Anna Johnson, and Courtnee Carroll.
Born October 9, 1942 in Chester, SC, he was a son of the late James P. and Rita Loving Dover. He served for Butler Manufacturing for 33 years in quality control. In his spare time he loved camping, the mountains, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
