Vicki Lynn Price Bodenhamer, 68, went peacefully in her sleep to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on December 29, 1948 to Phillip and Joan Price in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
She married Louie Bodenhamer, her high school sweet heart, in 1967 and they had two children, Aaron and Lara.
After graduating from Winston-Salem Business College, she worked in Data Processing at McLean Trucking Company for 18 years. She also worked as Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Bodenhamer Farms from 1979 until she retired in 2008.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed being involved at Laurinburg Christian Church, where she was the Treasurer and Vacation Bible School Director, a Sunday school teacher, nursery helper, and elder’s wife, among many other things, over the course of her 27 year membership there.
Mrs. Bodenhamer is survived by her husband Louie Bodenhamer of the home, son Aaron (Beverly) Bodenhamer of Rowland, daughter Lara (Kevin) Masters of Fuquay-Varina, NC, four granddaughters, Hannah Bodenhamer and Sophia Bodenhamer of Rowland; Elizabeth Masters and Margaret Masters of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and one grandson, Christian Masters of Fuquay-Varina, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home in Laurinburg, NC.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1st 2017 at 1 p.m. at Laurinburg Christian Church, 1111 Turnpike Road, with Pastor John Brand and Pastor Mike Waters officiating.
Interment will follow at Rowland Cemetery in Rowland, NC with a reception for the family to follow given by Laurinburg Christian Church at Rowland First Baptist Church fellowship hall.
