Vernon Lee Smith, 51, passed away at First Health Moore Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 9, 2014.
A graveside service will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Oak Grove Church Cemetery in Hasty. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Lowery (Larry) of Laurinburg; and brother, William C. Smith (Sheela) of Bennettsville, S.C.
Born on August 5, 1962, he was a son of the late William C. Smith Sr. and Ruth Brigman Smith.
