Toni Gail Ann (Liles) Jordan

Toni Gail Ann Liles Jordan, born January 16, 1943, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family after a brief illness on August 8, 2024, at the age of 81. Toni was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Toni was born in Troy, NC, to Herman and Doris Liles. She attended Troy High School and graduated with her GED from Montgomery Community College in May of 2014. Her career started in production and eventually she opened and operated Jordan’s Kwik Stop with her husband Marion. After her retirement, she worked at Walmart, NC Works at Montgomery Community College, the Partnership for Children, and the Town of Biscoe.

Toni’s generosity and zest for life were evident in her every interaction, and she had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and loved.

Toni is survived by her husband, Marion Jordan; her children, Mike Jordan (Stephanie Stevens) and Laura Jordan (Joey Gobrish); her cherished grandchildren, Mackey Jordan (Kristen Clark), Dereck Jordan, and Harley Jordan; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Fish; her brother, Terry Liles; and a host of nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Sandra Callicutt and Dot Versdig; brothers, Jerry Nelson and Clarence Salter; and her dearest friend, Betty Gillis.

Per her wishes, there will not be any services. The family invites all who knew her to remember and honor her remarkable life in their own special way. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, in Toni’s memory.

Toni will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her the love and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of her loved ones
