Tommy Wayne Williams, 56, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Sharon Cemetery in Mt. Gilead with Pastor Tony Sedberry officiating.  The family ask that everyone who attends the service to please dress casual.

Born September 5, 1966, in Anson County, he is a son of Jacquleline “Jackie” Dellinger Williams and the late George Aubrey Williams. A 1984 graduate of West Montgomery High School, Tommy was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. He carried these traits with him as he bravely served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. Throughout his life, Tommy remained proud of his service and the skills he acquired during his time in the military. Tommy's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing. He loved being with his family and friends, forging lasting memories.

He is survived by his brothers, Tony Williams and Jerry (Amy) Williams, both of Mt. Gilead; and nephews, Jacob Williams (Beth) and Alan Williams, both of Mt. Gilead. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Williams. Tommy's love for his family extended to his affection for his dogs, who were constant companions and sources of joy throughout his life.
