Tommy Dean Smith

Tommy Dean Smith, 33, of Troy, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Michael Greene. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service.

Born April 12, 1990, in Richmond County, he is a son of Freddie Dean Smith of Rockingham, and Vonda Holmes Johnson of the home. Tommy was an avid artist and tattoo artist. He also enjoyed watching kick boxing on television.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Autumn Smith of Hickory; brothers, Johnathan Bratcher of Atlanta, GA, Brandon Lee Bratcher of Abbeville, SC, and Andrew Fred Smith of Southern Pines; step-brother, Johnathan Scott Johnson of Henderson, NC; step-father, John Harvey Johnson of the home, and grandparents, Jeff and Carolyn Britt of Richlands, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the education fund at First Bank for his daughter, Autumn Emily Smith.
