Tommy Lee Catts, 56, of 610 Fishing Lane and formerly of Laurinburg died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel, Laurinburg. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
Tommy is survived by his parents, Ross and Barbara Deaton Catts of Florence; his dog, Kitty Catts of the home; his brothers, Richard Catts (Chrissy) of Pamplico and Ronnie Catts (Kandi) of Warrensburg, MO; his nephews, Richard Catts, II, Nicholas Catts, Adam Catts, and Daniel Williamson; great-nephew, Brantly Catts; his aunt, Alice Deaton of Tatum, SC; his uncle, Richard Deaton of Laurinburg; his cousins, Angie Usher (Wayne) of Tatum, SC, Donna and Junior Andrews and Joey Deaton of Laurinburg; and Tina Glansberg of Hollywood, FL. He was preceded in death by a sister, Katrina Catts Williamson.
Tommy was born March 24, 1956 in Laurinburg, and served many years in the construction industry. He is remembered as being able to "build anything" and using his woodworking skills had just completed a bed for his great nephew. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
