Mr. Thomas Harold "Tom" Ray, 67, of 62 Fifth Street died Tuesday, August 3, at his home.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Eastside Emanuel Holiness Church officiated by the Revs. James Croke and Wayman "Buzz" Hill. Burial will follow in Scotland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; Margaret Rhye Ray; a daughter, Wendy Kelly and husband, John of Yorktown, VA; a step-daughter, Jackie Strickland and husband, Aubrey of East Laurinburg; four brothers; James H. Ray and wife, Beth and Robert Ray and wife, Joyce of Aberdeen, Leslie Ray and wife Shirley and Carlton Ray and wife, Kathy of Laurel Hill; three grandchildren, A. J. Strickland of East Laurinburg, Trevor and Tiffany Kelly of Yorktown, VA. His son, Thomas Harold Ray, Jr, preceded him in death.
Born May 2, 1937 in Robeson County, he was a son of the late Mack Hoyt and Myrtle Leona Edwards Ray. Tom operated an appliance repair service for 30 years until his retirement in 1999. He was also a trustee and musician and Eastside Emanuel Holiness Church.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m.
Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
