Thomas Monroe "Tom" Coleman, 68, formerly of Laurel Hill died Tuesday, December 3, in Deltona, FL.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his companion, Connie Biermeister; his sons, Sandy Coleman of Florida and Adam Coleman of Greensboro; his brother, Harry (Connie) Coleman of Laurel Hill; his sister, Martha (Martin) Harris of Martinsville, VA.
Born January 19, 1945 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Florence Stevens Coleman. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam conflict, and served several years with Union Pacific. Following his retirement he served in security with Wal-Mart.
Gifted with a special voice, Tom loved singing.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
