Thomas Colvin "TC" Beane, Jr., 79, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. John Prine, Sr. and Rev. Robert Ray. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Born October 29, 1930 in Scotland County he was the son of the late Allie Yow and Thomas Beane, Sr. He served his country in the United States Air Force, and also retired from Wallace Trucking Company.

TC was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and served the Lord with all of his heart through his music, and also the use of his hands. He loved and was very devoted to his family and his church.

He is survived by his wife Betsy of the home, three sons, Tommy Beane and wife Pam of Dallas, NC, Randy Pearson and wife Cecilia of Gibson, Tim Pearson and wife Maria of Las Vegas, NV, four daughters, Jackie Robinson of Laurinburg, Teresa Quick and husband Gene of Laurinburg, Udora Smith and husband Keith of McColl, SC and Jeane Pearson of Laurinburg, two brothers, Wayne Beane and wife Grace of Knightdale, NC and Bobby Beane and wife Sherrill of Laurinburg, a sister, Martha Horton and Husband Gene of Wetumpka , AL, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents Mr. Beane was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tara Quick.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday January 14, at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
