Terry Lee Chinn Sr.

Terry Lee Chinn Sr., 65, of Laurel Hill, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence.

A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the McDougald Funeral Home Bumgarner Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tracy Gross. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park with Military Honors. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel.

Born July 27, 1953 in Lawrence County, Ohio, he was the son of Ailene Hubbard Chinn, of Ironton, OH and the late Shelby Chinn, Jr. He retired from the Navy after 27 years of service where he then became a welder for Butler Manufacturing.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his sons, Johnny Chinn (Brandy) of Laurel Hill, Terry Chinn Jr. (Vicky) of Laurel Hill, Justin Chinn of Hamlet, Shelton Chinn and Shelby Chinn, both of Laurinburg; sisters, Deloras “Jeanie” Neville (Dan) and Deborah Keeney (Vernon) both of Ironton, OH; and his grandchildren, Madison Chinn, Natalie Chinn and Nathaniel Chinn. He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Chinn and his sister, Judy Ann Chinn.
