Steve Lemons

Steve Alexander Lemons, age 72, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at his residence.

Services will be private.

Mr. Lemons was born January 8, 1948 in Guilford County, the son of the late Shelton Eugene Lemons and Louise Mildred Duggins Lemons.  He was a plumber in the construction industry and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was very involved in the Boy Scouts, having served as a boy scout coordinator in Brown Summit. He also liked to read, camp and being very creative, he liked to build things with his hands.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Janice Hawks Lemons of the home; one son, Steven Alexander Lemons, Jr. of Greensboro; one daughter, Wendy L. Buchanan of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one step-son, Bryan Hawks of Trinity; one step-daughter, Diane Eppley of Thomasville; seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

Services are entrusted to Bumgarner Family Funeral Service.
