Stephen Cain Greer

Stephen Cain Greer, 45, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at his residence.

A memorial service held by the family will be at 6:00 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Mercy Chapel Church of God, officiated by Rev. Jerry Coe.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Born August 31, 1974 in Montgomery County, he was a son of John Martin and Sonja Harris Greer.  He was a laborer in the logging industry.  Stephen loved motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, John Michael Greer of Troy; two sisters, Annette Hogan Williams of Troy, and Loretta Harris of Murrells Inlet, SC; half-sister, Sandra Underwood of Mosheim, TN; maternal grandmother, Dortha Cave of Troy; and uncle, James Greer of Tennessee.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Renetta Lynn Greer; maternal grandfather, Benjamin Cave; and paternal grandparents, Ben and Pearl Cantrell Greer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Randolph Hospice House, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
