Stanley M. Hufton

Stanley M. Hufton, entered his Heavenly home on Monday, October 11, 2021. Mr. Hufton was born on January 9, 1931 in Washington County, North Carolina, to Dennis L. and Margaret (Phelps) Hufton.

Mr. Hufton graduated from Creswell School in 1949 and served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was retired from West Point Pepperell/Stevens Mills and attended Laurinburg Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Everett Hufton, as well as his brothers, William Marvin Hufton and Henry Earl Hufton.

Mr. Hufton is survived by his daughter-in law, Margaret Farrah Sullivan and husband, Jimmy of Rockingham, NC; grandson, Wayne O. (Butch) Farrah III and wife, Allison, of Hamlet, NC; great-grandchildren, Matthew Farrah of Statesboro, Georgia, Olivia Farrah of Ellerbe, NC, and Mary Catherine Coltrane of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg, officiated by Rev. Dr. Allison Farrah.
