Mrs. Sidney Eliza Gerock Easterlin, 89, of 401 Forest Rd., PO Box 296, died Tuesday, February 7, at the Edwin Morgan Center.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Dr. Howard Whitehurst.
A private burial will precede the service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Maxton.
She is survived by a son, G. L. Easterlin, Jr. and wife, Arenda Mills of Laurinburg; three daughters, Beverly Murray of Laurinburg, Martha Canada and husband, Frank of Collinwood, TN, and Patricia Milligan and husband, Gordon of Laurinburg; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amie Gerock Easterlin and her husband, Guilford Leo "Pete" Easterlin.
Born September 18, 1916 in Mayesville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Elizabeth Freeman Gerock. For many years she was co-owner and operator of Easterlina
