Mrs. Shelva Butler Batton, 66, of 12421 Shaw Road died Friday, November 7, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at the East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Revs. Michael Price, Legrande Taylor, and Wade Outlaw. Burial will follow in Scotland Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Batton; a son, Fred Batton, II of Laurinburg; two daughters, Joyce Rogers and husband, Tom and Gail Jackson and husband, Plez of Laurinburg; her mother, Eula Abernathy of Laurinburg; three brothers, Jimmy Butler and wife, Sandy of Baltimore; Ronald Abernathy and wife Jean of Ocean Isle, and David Grainger of asheboro; 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren.
Born August 8, 1937 in Scotland County, she was also a daughter of the late James Butler. She was a retired employee of the Ingraham Company and Rostra.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
