Sheldon Lee Talley

Sheldon Lee Talley, 48, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at his residence, officiated by Rev. Brian Workman and Dr. Harold Pope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing when possible.

Born October 17, 1973 in Stanly County, he is a son of Dewey William Talley and the late Lily Mae Cochran Talley. Sheldon loved hunting and fishing. He loved helping others and followed in his dad’s footsteps by doing sheet rock work for people. He was a hard worker and had a good heart. Sheldon was a simple person and made everyone laugh.

He is survived to his wife, Shelly Linder Talley of the home; step-children, Drew Linder of Michigan and Sarah Richardson of Asheboro; brothers, Doug “Spook” Hissim (Jane) of Troy, Dale “Spock” Hissim (Deanna) of Wallburg, and Josh Talley (Samantha) of Troy; and sister, Lahoma Workman (Brian) of Denton. He is preceded in death by his step-daughter, Shelby Richardson and nephew, Isaac Workman.
