Mrs. Sharon Britt Walters, 52, of 74 10th Street died suddenly Thursday, December 23, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Harry Clark.

Born April 21, 1947 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Lena Strickland Britt. She was employed as a quality control technician with Waverly Mills.

She is survived by her husband; Edward 'Buddy' Walters; two sons, Brian Britt of Laurel Hill and Jason Walters of East Laurinburg; a daughter, Amy Cooper of East Laurinburg; her birth-mother, Frances Britt Tessman; six brothers, Royce Britt of Laurinburg, Wesley Britt of Springfield, MO, Edward Tessman of East Laurinburg, Charles Tessman, Jamie Tessman, and Shawn Tessman of Hammond, IN; three sisters Sally B. Neverve of Laurinburg, Karen Kawalski of Oklahoma, and Debra Ramirez of Demont, IN; four grandchildren, A. J. Cooper, Kristen Peele, Brittney Britt, and Chanin Britt.
